Patches of Green is a unique concept that was born in an equally unique continent. PoG is inspired by the riches of Africa, and made in a workshop established to train underprivileged women to manufacture leather goods, and give them an opportunity to earn a living. Patches of Green produces one of a kind, vibrant clutches that suit each woman’s individuality.

As Egypt comes out of one of its most difficult years in its long history, economic development and empowerment of women is increasingly important. Working to promote high quality skills amongst young Egyptian women can only help the ancient country secure a more democratic future.

Patches of Green is created by Fatma Rashad, who was inspired by her time in Ethiopia to create little pieces of art from the amazing resources around her.
